The Team

The UK & Ireland is Deliveroo's most mature market globally. Functions include commercial, operations, and marketing, with teams in the UK&I collaborating with global departments such as Product, Technology, Consumer, and Restaurants.

The UK&I Regional team drives Deliveroo's performance across all five nations. From Brighton to Bangor, Bolton to Belfast, we are experts in the local markets we serve. The Regional team oversees all three sides of our marketplace: restaurants, consumers, and riders.

As part of the UK&I Regional UKI team, you will sign up the best restaurants in your city/region. UK&I Regional offers significant growth opportunities, and we are building a diverse team of talented, commercially experienced individuals to help us reach our potential.

The Role

We are seeking a Field Sales Executive for our North East & Yorkshire team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the success of the cities you work in. You will build relationships with new restaurant partners, enhance our value proposition, and role model best practices to your team through coaching and guidance. Ideal candidates enjoy building rapport, delivering results, and working independently. You will report to the City Manager, based in Leeds, but spend most of your time in your assigned cities.

What you'll do:
  • Map, prospect, pitch, and close new partners by actively engaging in the streets to find and sign restaurants and stores loved by local customers.
  • Communicate through in-person visits, emails, calls, and social media to demonstrate Deliveroo's technology and business opportunities.
  • Establish yourself as a local food delivery and restaurant industry expert, building trust and facilitating inbound deal flow.
  • Manage the restaurant onboarding process to ensure it is quick, efficient, and seamless, supporting continuous improvement.
  • Log all meetings and activities in Salesforce with clear, concise notes.
  • This role involves regular travel across towns and cities in the North of England, from Sheffield to Sunderland. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and a car, enjoy autonomy, and prefer a field-based role. Fully expensed overnight stays are provided to optimize travel efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Confident and charismatic individual capable of “selling with style”.
  • Proven track record of achieving outstanding commercial results.
  • Strong commercial acumen, results-oriented, and target-focused.
  • Effective relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working autonomously in the field 4-5 days per week.
  • Preferably fluent in at least one additional language (e.g., Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Thai, Arabic, Vietnamese, Malay, Japanese, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, etc.).
