Job summary

Sales Recruit UK is recruiting for a Field Sales Account Manager covering the West Midlands, Bristol, Wrexham and neighbouring regions. You’ll manage showroom and trade accounts with autonomy, building long-term relationships and delivering steady account growth.

Field Sales Account Manager — KBB & Interior Decor

up to £50,000 basic + £10,000 Bonus + company car · Field-based, West Midlands, Bristol, Wrexham

If you've sold kitchens, bedrooms or bathrooms into showrooms and retailers, you already know the good version of this job. Walking in to a customer who's glad to see you. Talking ranges and displays with people who plan seasons ahead. Building something that comes back around, order after order, instead of starting cold every Monday. This is that job — handed your own territory, with a serious business behind you.

You'd take on a live book of showroom and trade accounts across your patch — customers who already stock the business and expect your call. The work is partnership, not pursuit: getting under the skin of how each showroom makes its money, where it's leaking sales, what its buyers actually need on the floor, and becoming the supplier they'd hate to lose. From there you grow what every account spends with you, and win new business of your own on top. That blend — deepening the accounts you hold and opening ones you don't — is what turns a good field rep into a genuinely valuable account manager.

You'd run Hereford, Worcester and into Wales as your own patch, with real autonomy and a light managerial touch — support when you want it, not someone in your diary. And because this sits inside one of the UK's largest privately-owned distribution groups, the ceiling is high: key accounts, bigger territories, management, or a move across the group when you're ready.

About you

You don't have to come from KBB. If you sell any product into showrooms, retailers or trade counters — tiles, flooring, furniture, lighting, building products, plumbing and heating, appliances, interiors — the job in front of you is the same, and you'll have the product learned inside a few weeks. What matters is that you're already out on the road, you know how to hold a relationship once you're through the door, and you want accounts you can build something with rather than a run of one-off sales. What you've sold matters far less than how you sell.
