Job summary
ARX Robotics is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge Mithra OS with customers' operational systems, delivering field-ready integrations and hands-on deployments across challenging environments.
You will translate real-world needs into robust software solutions, lead live demonstrations, and act as the customer’s technical voice within our engineering teams, ensuring measurable field value.
Qualifications
- Proven experience building and deploying software integrations for robotics/defense/industrial systems.
- Hands-on skills in C++ and ROS2.
- Strong API integration and service development fundamentals.
- Understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
- Ability to work directly with customers and translate needs into requirements.
- Systems-level mindset for software, hardware, networks, and field ops.
- Excellent technical English communication; German is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical deployments at customer sites from planning to troubleshooting.
- Integrate Mithra OS into customer systems and deploy extensions and adapters.
- Translate customer requirements into robust, field-ready integrations.
- Draft and communicate technical requirements with customers and engineers.
- Provide post-deployment support and field demonstrations.
