Job summary

Safran is seeking a Field Representative to support customers in maintaining operational readiness of Safran HE equipment across field sites. The role combines hands-on maintenance oversight with strong customer relationship management, ensuring safety and airworthiness compliance in complex environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of aeronautical maintenance of complex components such as engines, APUs, or landing gears.
• At least 24 months of experience in gas turbine maintenance or repair, and/or as a technical support interface in the helicopter domain.
• Must demonstrate working knowledge of the language used in maintenance documentation.
• Effective communicator with remote and multi-relational interaction capabilities.
• Willingness to travel frequently for professional purposes.
• Provide 24/7 out of hours AOG technical support on a 1 in 4 week rota.

• Third-Party Maintenance Centre's.

Performance Indicators

• Annual customer visit requirements as defined by the Field Representative Manager


• Customer requests follow-up & closure


• Customer complaints (Product or technical support)


• Maintain Fleet Data across allocated fleet to greater than 85%


• FLY Event Report quality

What You'll Bring

Essential:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in aeronautical maintenance of complex components such as engines, APUs, or landing gears.


• At least 24 months of successful experience in gas turbine maintenance or repair, and/or as a technical support interface specifically in the helicopter domain.


• Must demonstrate working knowledge of the language used in maintenance documentation.


• Effective communicator, capable of remote and multi-relational interactions (with both customers and internal teams).


• Willingness to travel frequently for professional purposes.


• Provide 24/7 out of hours AOG technical support on a 1 in 4 week rota.

Desirable:

• Attendance at theoretical and practical training sessions on Safran HE products.


• Proven experience as a technical or operational support interface.


• Up-to-date training in Human Factors and Aviation Legislation.


• Knowledge of helicopter airframes.


• Advanced proficiency in standard office software applications.
