Job summary

Close Brothers Asset Finance is expanding its field-based sales team across the UK, seeking a proactive professional to drive new business growth with SME customers in Construction & Recycling. The role involves extensive travel from a home office, developing strong relationships, and delivering financial targets.

You will act as a trusted finance partner, stay current with product trends, and ensure compliant reporting and governance while collaborating with Risk.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer-facing sales roles within asset finance.
• Track record of delivering financial targets.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Able to travel and work from home office.
• Full driving license.

Responsibilities

• Identify and convert new business opportunities to meet sales targets.
• Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with customers.
• Manage end-to-end sales cycle and close deals.
• Stay informed of relevant products, market trends, customer needs and competitive landscape.
• Ensure governance, regulatory and internal reporting requirements are met.
• Collaborate with Risk to align objectives within the Enterprise Risk Management framework.
• Communicate with stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally.
• Exceed sales targets through a consultative approach.
• Be highly self-motivated and exceptionally organised.
• Demonstrate negotiation, presentation and closing skills.
• Understand industry trends and customer needs.
• Maintain a full driving license.
