Hamilton Barnes is seeking a hands-on Field Radio Engineer to work on critical communications systems across Scotland. You’ll handle high‑tower sites, search and rescue infrastructure and RF networks, with Motorola training to grow your skills.

The role offers a salary up to £40k, a company van, fuel card, hybrid working and real opportunities to advance in specialist radio engineering.

Qualifications

• Hands-on field RF engineering experience or strong radio/electronic background.
• Understanding of VHF/UHF radio systems and RF principles.
• Experience installing, testing or maintaining radio equipment.

Responsibilities

• Work on high-tower radio sites and critical communications networks.
• Tackle real technical challenges and troubleshoot faults in the field.
• Travel across Scotland to field sites and participate in Motorola training.
