Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Pump Engineer to join our field service team in Brigg. You will service, install and repair diesel, electric, and air-driven pumps, ensuring reliability and customer satisfaction on-site.

Responsibilities include delivering equipment to sites, training customers on proper use, and maintaining stock levels while supporting other operations staff. A driving license (B) is essential and weekend/overtime work may arise.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience with fluid transfer pumps or related equipment.
• Technical background in electrical and mechanical maintenance required.
• Full driving license (B) is essential.
• Strong communication skills and IT literacy are needed.
• Team-oriented with proactive and flexible work approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and fault finding on diesel, electrical and air-driven pumps.
• Deliver, install and de-install pumps, filtration equipment and tanks at sites.
• Hand over equipment to customers and provide usage guidance.
• Perform repairs and routine maintenance on rental equipment; support teammates.
