Job summary

TXM Recruit are seeking a proactive Product Support Engineer to join our rolling stock HVAC team. The role is field-based in the East Midlands (Derby area) and focuses on on-site maintenance, repairs and customer support to ensure safety, quality and service delivery across the product lifecycle.

You will work with the Operations Manager and Project Management on depots or customer sites, carry out modification programmes, maintain records and strive to meet budget and schedule targets.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and repairing rolling stock HVAC units.
• Ability to train others and work autonomously.
• Good understanding of Health and Safety legislation.
• Must pass a standard medical and drugs & alcohol test.

Responsibilities

• Carry out modifications, repairs and maintenance on Rolling stock HVAC units.
• Work with Project Management on site or at depots to deliver projects within budget and on time.
• Ensure materials, drawings, tooling and test equipment are ready prior to commencement of a job.
• Identify revenue opportunities and report to the PSE Coordinator.
• Implement 5S and continuous improvement initiatives where possible.
