Job summary

TXM Recruit is seeking a Product Support Engineer (PSE) to maintain and repair rolling stock HVAC units across UK sites and customer locations. The role involves field-based work in the East Midlands/Derby area, requiring a full UK driving licence and willingness to stay away when needed.

You will work with the PM team on site or at depots to deliver projects on time and within budget, while adhering to Health & Safety and quality policies.

Qualifications

• GCSEs or equivalent including English Language and Mathematics.
• Mechanical and/or Electrical engineering ONC, or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
• F gas certification.
• HNC/HND level / NVQ Level 4 / Foundation degree (desirable).
• Brazing qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out modification programmes, repairs and maintenance on Rolling stock HVAC units.
• Liaise with customers and keep concise records of work completed.
• Deliver projects on time and within budget with PM team.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery and efficiency.
• Provide technical support and compile technical reports.
