Job summary

Edina, a leading energy solutions provider, is recruiting an Operations Engineer to join our Bristol team on a full-time basis. You will carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on installations across Bristol and the surrounding area, diagnosing faults and implementing repairs while ensuring customer satisfaction.

You will also help optimise operational processes of client systems to boost productivity and reduce time and material waste, and contribute to our 24-hour callout rota.

Qualifications

• Minimum ONC/NVQ2 or City & Guilds Level 2 in mechanical/electrical engineering or equivalent
• Competent time-served technician with ~3 years industrial mechanical/electrical experience
• In-depth knowledge of gas/diesel engines
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient IT and MS Office usage
• Hold a full, valid driving licence

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on installations in Bristol and surrounding area
• Diagnose faults and implement repairs to client installations
• Oversee and optimise operational processes to increase productivity and reduce material use
• Be part of a 24-hour callout rota on a rota system
