Job summary

GreenPower Developments Ltd. is seeking a Field Operations Officer to manage day-to-day site activities at our Alloa-based facilities. The role leads safety, optimises generation, minimises downtime, and controls costs while acting as the GreenPower ambassador to landowners and communities.

Ideal candidates will have health & safety expertise, experience in facilities management or industrial maintenance, and proficiency with light maintenance tools. Strong English reporting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Understanding of health & safety and environmental compliance.
• Experience in facilities management or industrial maintenance.
• Experience with non-specialist light duty power and hand tools.
• Fluent in English with strong reporting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating access to site and delivering toolbox talks as required.
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety and environmental practice across the sites.
• Conducting regular general site inspections and maintaining records of site condition.
• Regularly checking site status and identifying any operational issues requiring attention.
• Monitoring works on site and providing regular reports on completed and scheduled works.
• Carrying out on-the-spot checks of third-party contractors to ensure safe practices.
• Ensuring all site facilities are maintained in good working order, including safety systems.
• Maintaining accurate site records, logs and other relevant operational documentation.
• Undertaking minor maintenance and general site upkeep, including cleaning hydro intakes and lighting.
