Job summary

Lanes Group is seeking a Field Manager – Planned Maintenance to oversee the day-to-day operations of field staff at Ryemeads Depot, Ware. The role ensures safe, efficient delivery of field-based activities while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.

You will coordinate field engineers, conduct site inspections, manage fleet issues and support staff welfare, reporting to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Previous management and leadership experience.
• Full UK driving licence (UK) required.

• Carry out site inspections.
• Coordinate field engineers.

• Evaluate employee performance.
• Liaise with the office planners’/ team leaders.
• Conduct one-to-ones.
• Vehicle utilisation.

• Assist the client with high profile jobs.
• Monitor engineers’ performances.

• Look after the wellbeing of the field staff.
