Job summary

Lanes Group is seeking a Field Manager – Planned Maintenance at our Iver Depot, Colnbrook site. The role is permanent and full-time, working Monday to Friday, 40 hours, overseeing day-to-day field operations and ensuring safety, quality and performance standards across field engineers.

You will coordinate field activities, liaise with planners and team leaders, manage fleet issues, evaluate staff, and support wellbeing while upholding company policies. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Previous management and leadership experience.
• Full UK drivers Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site inspections
• Coordinate field engineers
• Manage fleet issues
• Evaluate employee performance
• Liaise with the office planners’/ team leaders
• Conducting one-to-ones
• Vehicle utilisation
• Resource availability
• Assisting the client with high profile jobs
• Monitor engineers’ performances
• Carry out and liaise with HR on disciplinaries / interviews / pathway reviews
• Looking after the wellbeing of the field staff
• Be aware of Lanes Group policies and your responsibility towards them
• Any other reasonable ad hoc duties requested by the Operations Manager, Regional Manager, or member of the Senior Leadership Team.
