Job summary

Finning (UK) Ltd in Corby is seeking a field-based technician to perform preventative maintenance on heavy mobile plant, inspect machines and carry out minor repairs. You will travel to customer sites across the region and coordinate with the controller to deliver high-quality service.

Essentially, you will ensure equipment is serviced per manufacturers’ guidelines, maintain safety standards, and document all work. The role requires 3+ years in engineering and a full driving licence.

Qualifications

• 3 years+ experience in related engineering field.
• Basic knowledge of engines, hydraulics, powertrain and vehicle electrics/electronics.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer locations and carry out preventive maintenance servicing.
• Liaise with service controller and customer as work progresses.
• Ensure work is carried out to high standards and equipment is safe before handover.
