Job summary

Dawsongroup EMC is seeking an experienced Mobile HGV Engineer/Field Service Engineer to maintain and repair specialist municipal and utilities equipment in the field. You will respond to breakdowns and service requests, delivering high standards for customers.

Role requires hands-on engineering with diesel, hydraulic and electrical systems, PMI inspections, and strong safety practices. A Class 2 HGV license is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineering experience with fault diagnosis and repairs.
• Ability to perform PMI inspections and major/minor repairs.
• Willingness to develop product knowledge on Dawsongroup EMC assets.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults across a varied fleet.
• Carry out planned maintenance, PMI inspections and repairs.
• Work safely, follow SHEQ procedures and complete risk assessments.
