Job summary

Kingston Barnes Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Service Engineer in Rotherham to service traditional mechanical machinery across customer sites. You will join a two-person team and travel between sites, carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance to keep machinery running.

The role suits someone with a mechanical apprenticeship or similar background, extensive hands-on experience, and a valid driving licence. Overtime opportunities exist, with salary potential approaching £40K over time.

Qualifications

• Mechanical maintenance skills.
• Mechanical apprenticeship or similar qualification.
• From an Industrial, manufacturing or service background.
• TIG or MIG welding experience ideal.
• Happy travelling as a team of 2.
• Extensive mechanical experience.
• Driving license.

Responsibilities

• Travel with a colleague to service and repair machines at multiple customer sites.
• Perform day-to-day PPM and reactive mechanical maintenance tasks.
• Work on mechanical equipment such as hydraulics and pumps.
