Kingston Recruitment Ltd. in Hull is partnering with a well-established manufacturing business to recruit two mechanically biased multi-skilled technicians for the engineering team.

You will report to the Maintenance Manager and focus on reliability and performance of plant and equipment across the site. The role suits hands-on, proactive engineers who thrive in a fast-paced environment, contributing to both planned maintenance and reactive breakdown support, with a generous salary, bonus

Qualificações

• Must be time-served with an engineering apprenticeship.
• Mechanical and electrical experience in a manufacturing setting is essential.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Reliable, flexible, and a proactive team player.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out mechanical (and some electrical) maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Diagnose faults and support breakdown investigations and repairs.
• Undertake planned preventative maintenance and refurbishment of machinery.
• Set up and maintain plant and equipment for optimal performance.
• Support installation and commissioning of new machinery.
• Record activities, time and materials using CMMS.
• Liaise with contractors to source parts and support fault finding.
• Ensure work complies with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards and collaborate across departments.
