Job summary

Travail Employment Group is seeking a Materials Technician to work field-based across South Yorkshire with a Doncaster operation. Permanent role with typical earnings around £34k DOE, including paid overtime and allowances.

You will conduct on-site sampling and in-situ testing of soils, concrete, asphalt and aggregates for live construction sites, liaising with managers and clients to report data. The position requires a graduate technician or a lab technician transitioning to site work, with

Qualifications

• Graduate or lab technician with experience testing soils, concrete, aggregate or asphalt.
• Must have full UK driving licence and strong client-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• On-site sampling and in-situ testing of soils, asphalt, concrete and aggregates.
• Liaising with site managers, engineers and clients.
• Accurate recording, checking and reporting of test data.
• Working to quality systems and test procedures.
