Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Site Technician to join a specialist team conducting construction materials testing across a range of projects in Greater Manchester and Cumbria. Based from the Manchester depot, you will travel by company van to sites, perform on-site testing, and ensure samples meet required specifications.

The role features full training, the opportunity for long-term career development, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS Card (essential).
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
• Comfortable travelling extensively throughout Greater Manchester and Cumbria.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to construction sites across Greater Manchester and Cumbria using a company van.
• Carry out on-site testing and sampling of construction materials.
• Accurately record test results and complete required documentation.
• Ensure testing is conducted in accordance with industry standards and procedures.
• Work closely with site managers, contractors and colleagues.
• Maintain testing equipment and company vehicle.
• Follow all health, safety and quality procedures.
• Represent the business professionally on customer sites.
