Role Description

To increase the profile of the UK and Ireland business externally, growing Arcadis brand and reputation in the UK & Ireland market. This role requires a strategic thinker who is commercially aware and can produce multi-faceted and integrated marketing campaigns, identify opportunities to build and grow our brand position, and demonstrate clear, measurable ROI.

Reports directly to the UK & I Marketing & Communications Director and has 1-2 marketing line reports. The role has a dotted line with the Marketing Center of Excellence.

Role Accountabilities
  1. The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing a sector-based marketing strategy (aligned with the global strategy) to grow Arcadis' share of wallet with key clients, and to boost brand profile across the UK and Ireland.
  2. Supporting specific, in-country client growth plans, this role will champion account-based marketing and sector-specific initiatives, working with ABM and sector teams to develop impactful marketing campaigns to drive lead generation and client engagement.
  3. Collaborating with subject matter experts, this role will oversee the creation of regional insights and thought leadership content to support regional priorities and position Arcadis as an industry leader.
  4. Acting as a custodian of the Brand, this role will localize global brand initiatives for the UK & Ireland market, ensuring consistent messaging and branding.
  5. Partnering with the Digital Marketing Center of Excellence, this role will develop buyer personas, journey maps, and content strategies for preferred channels.
  6. Influencing stakeholders and working closely with local sector, sales, marketing, communications, events teams, and global CoE teams for marketing, ABM, brand, digital, and events.
  7. Regularly monitor, analyze, and report on channel and program performance against KPIs, using insights to inform decisions.
Key Shared Accountabilities
  1. Managing the UK & I Marketing budget, working with Operations and Finance, and reporting on spending and forecasts.
  2. Identifying and implementing opportunities to optimize systems, processes, and tools.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 10 years of marketing experience
  • Marketing qualification/certification
  • B2B experience and industry knowledge highly desired
  • Results-driven marketeer with strong campaign development skills
  • Proficient in digital marketing tools and social media
  • Client-focused with an outside-in approach
  • Strong data and audience insights focus
  • Managerial and leadership experience
  • Excellent collaborator and communicator in high-energy environments
  • Strong networking skills and relationship-building at all organizational levels
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team and adapt to shifting priorities
