Job summary

Breedon Group Plc currently seeks a Technician to support the Aggregate and Asphalt Testing at our Mansfield Asphalt Plant, Nottinghamshire. The role reports to the Technical Manager and includes mobility to customer sites with a company van.

A mix of day and night shifts may be required based on business needs. You will carry out sampling and testing, input data, and produce reports on non-conforming material, ensuring corrective actions are taken.

Qualifications

• Good communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Awareness of site practices and quality procedures.
• Adhere to Health & Safety practices at site.
• Willingness to work a mix of days and nights as required.
• Previous lab testing experience desirable but not essential; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Carry out product compliance sampling and testing for aggregates and asphalt.
• Input and interpret test data; produce reports of non-conforming material and implement corrective actions.
• Liaise with customers, peers and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety at all times.
