Job summary

Breedon Group in Mansfield is seeking an Aggregates & Asphalt Technician to support testing at the Mansfield Asphalt Plant. The role reports to the Technical Manager, with a company van provided for site mobility.

The position requires flexibility for days and nights and involves sampling, testing, data input, reporting non-conforming material, and coordinating with customers and colleagues. Full driving licence required; previous laboratory experience is desirable but training will be provided;

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and liaising with customers and internal teams.
• Awareness of site practices and quality procedures; adherence to Health & Safety.
• Strong attention to detail and housekeeping.
• Full driving licence is essential for driving a company van.

Responsibilities

• Carry out product compliance sampling and testing for aggregates and asphalt.
• Input and interpret test data; produce reports of non-conforming material and drive corrective actions.
• Liaise with customers, peers and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
