Job summary

British Gas is seeking experienced appliance repair technicians to visit customer homes across Peterborough, Epsom, Croydon and London to diagnose and repair white goods, delivering first-time fixes where possible and providing excellent service.

The role offers a base salary of £40,133 with an uncapped OTE; £47,000 is a realistic expectation through our field reward scheme, with strong managerial and engineering support across a nationwide energy company.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in repair/maintenance of white goods (dishwashers, washing machines, refrigerators, tumble dryers, microwaves).
• Strong customer service and problem-solving to achieve first-time fixes.
• Ability to diagnose defects and work safely on customer premises.

Responsibilities

• Attend customers' homes to repair and maintain appliances.
• Diagnose defects and perform first-time fixes where possible.
• Coordinate with managers/engineers for support and safety.
