Job summary

FläktGroup UK invites applications for a Service Engineer to join our field-based team across Herefordshire. You will provide expert on-site HVAC support, perform PPMs, repairs and commissioning, and respond to call-outs under a regional rota with strong emphasis on safety and quality.

You will mentor apprentices, ensure F Gas compliance, and drive service improvements while working in a collaborative environment that values growth and reliability.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 2079 or NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
• F-Gas Qualification (C&G 2079-11).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Extensive A/C service experience including VRV/VRF, chillers, splits, and close control systems.

Responsibilities

• Attend client sites to provide expert technical assistance and engineering support.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, repairs, refurbishments, modifications and commissioning of HVAC plant and equipment.
• Respond to emergency call-outs as part of a regional rota with 4-hour SLA response times.
• Prepare on-site risk assessments to support a safe working environment and spot service enhancement opportunities.
• Support and guide apprentices and trainees in their development.
• Contribute to keeping F Gas compliance up to date using the digital tracking system.
