Job summary

JLB Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Heating Engineer for field-based work across the North West. You will handle reactive call outs, fault finding and routine servicing of boilers, heaters and oil-fired systems, working independently on customer sites.

Ideal candidates have 2–3+ years of heating experience, NVQ Level 3 Heating and Ventilating and ACS gas tickets. A company vehicle, tools, and pension are provided along with full uniform and private health cover.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as Heating Engineer.
• NVQ Level 3 Heating & Ventilating or equivalent.
• ACS Commercial gas tickets (as listed) and oil qualifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Attend reactive call outs and breakdowns across customer sites.
• Diagnose faults on boilers, heaters and oil-fired heating systems.
• Carry out safe, effective repairs and escape issues as required.
• Undertake electrical checks as part of heating diagnostics.
