Job summary

Baxi is seeking a Gas Engineer (Field Service Engineer) to diagnose faults, service, and repair domestic and commercial heating products across Swindon, Reading, and Bath. You will operate in the field with an annualised 41.5-hour week, with some weekend and bank holiday work, and a company van plus fuel card.

The role requires ACS Gas qualifications, a full UK driving licence, and strong problem-solving with excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Possess ACS Gas qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1 or equivalent) – essential.
• Experience servicing and repairing domestic gas boilers and heating systems.
• Full UK driving licence and knowledge of Gas Safe regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, efficient technical support across domestic and commercial heating products.
• Diagnose faults and deliver first-time fixes wherever possible.
• Commission new installations and perform annual servicing.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment.
• Provide technical advice to customers, installers, and contractors.
• Complete accurate digital job reports and documentation.
