Job summary

LiveWest Homes Ltd is seeking a Gas Engineer to maintain and improve heating systems across properties in the Bath area. You will diagnose faults, service boilers, and carry out installation work in customers' homes, ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires driving and a mobile working pattern with a 40-hour week, including on-call duties. A strong gas qualifications portfolio and a customer-centric approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Post-Qualification Experience: Proven experience in the gas industry, with a strong understanding of responsive maintenance.
• Technical Skills: Diagnosing boiler faults, performing annual servicing, and carrying out installation work.
• Customer Focus: Experience working in customers' homes with a professional and positive approach.
• Health and Safety Awareness: Knowledge of health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Fault Diagnosis and Repair: Diagnose and repair domestic heating systems, including fault-finding, installation, and annual servicing.
• Quality Workmanship: Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard, complying with building regulations and safety requirements.
• Customer Service: Demonstrate a positive and professional approach to our customers, ensuring high customer service and satisfaction.
• Maintenance and Testing: Perform periodic testing and installation work, ensuring compliance with current best practices and guidelines.
• Health and Safety: Adhere to health and safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• On-Call Participation: Take part in an out-of-hours on-call structure and attend meetings and training as required.
