Job summary

Vertu Motors plc is seeking engineers for the Vertu Garage Assist division to service the Nottingham/Mansfield dealer network. You will be field-based, traveling to sites to maintain garage equipment including vehicle lifts, MOT lanes, lubrication systems and testing gear.

The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, breakdown repairs and timely reporting. A UK driving license, flexible approach and good communication are essential; company vehicle, mobile phone, IT package and PPE are provided

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical equipment.
• Maintenance, inspection and breakdown repairs experience.
• Willingness to travel and overnight stays.
• Strong time management and flexibility.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Full UK driving license.

• Vehicle Lift Maintenance to BS7980
• Maintenance on general garage equipment
• Breakdown & Repair Works
• Compiling Reports & Recommendations (where necessary)
• Control of Van Stock (consumables, lubricants and small serviceable components)
