Job summary

Vertu Motors plc's Vertu Garage Assist division is seeking engineers to cover the Nottingham/Mansfield area. You will be field based, spending most time on location across the dealer network to service a wide range of garage equipment, including vehicle lifts, MOT lanes, lubrication gear, and diagnostic tools, maintaining high safety standards.

The role is predominantly Monday–Friday with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical equipment.
• Maintenance, inspection and breakdown repairs experience.
• Excellent timekeeping and flexible to travel overnight when required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle lift maintenance to BS7980.
• Maintenance on general garage equipment.
• Breakdown and repair works.
• Compile reports and recommendations.
• Control of van stock (consumables, lubricants and small parts).
