Job summary

Yunex Traffic is seeking an Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Engineer to join our field-based team. You will commission, maintain, and support fast EV chargers, working across nationwide and local contracts.

The role demands hands-on field work, strong safety practices, and proactive problem solving in a dynamic environment. You will conduct testing, maintenance, and data analysis to optimise contract performance, with occasional travel and overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Experience working with low and medium voltage electrical systems.
• Able to handle IT equipment and software used on-site.
• Safety-conscious and detail-oriented in field operations.
• Full driving license and proximity to a depot.
• Proactive problem-solving in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Service, upgrade, and troubleshoot AC and DC EV chargers.
• Maintain safety by reporting unsafe conditions and incidents.
• Conduct electrical testing and inspections of charging equipment.
• Work to high standards, safely and on schedule.
• Communicate effectively with contractors and customers on-site and digitally.
• Manage vehicle stock levels and report them as needed.
• Analyse data to optimise contract performance.
• Assist with out-of-hours standby and emergency repairs.
• Complete product training and pursue accredited qualifications (incl. travel).
• Willingness to stay away overnight and support other areas when required.
