Job summary

Marmion is seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to join its fast-growing EV charging infrastructure business, covering the UK. You will diagnose faults, commission and update firmware, and perform maintenance across AC, Rapid DC, HPC systems with substantial travel across Greater London and beyond.

The role requires strong fault-finding skills, a valid UK driving licence, and a willingness to travel and stay away when needed. Right to Work in the UK is essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualification, AM2, and BS7671 18th Edition.
• City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection & Testing and a JIB Gold Card.
• At least 3 years’ experience in commercial field-based electrical installation/maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability with independent field work.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with stakeholders and customers.
• Valid UK driving licence and permanent Right to Work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve electrical and system faults on EV charging equipment.
• Commission, configure and carry out firmware updates where required.
• Perform planned maintenance and reactive repairs to maximise uptime.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
• Provide on-site technical support and clear updates to customers.
• Ensure accurate reporting and full compliance with safety standards.
