Job summary

Yunex Traffic invites applications for an Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Engineer to join a field-based team. You will commission, maintain, and support fast, rapid, and ultra-rapid EV chargers across a nationwide network, delivering high-quality results in diverse environments.

The role requires hands-on electrical work, safety focus, and the ability to travel as needed. Training and accreditation are provided, with some overseas travel opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with low and medium voltage electrical systems
• Ability to work outdoors and in field conditions
• Safe working practices and problem-solving mindset
• Willingness to travel for training and site work

Responsibilities

• Service, upgrade, and troubleshoot AC and DC EV chargers.
• Maintain safety focus and report unsafe events and incidents.
• Conduct electrical testing and inspections of charging equipment.
• Ensure work is completed safely, to a high standard, and on schedule.
• Communicate effectively with contractors and customers on-site and digitally.
• Manage and report vehicle stock levels.
• Analyze and process data to optimise contract performance.
• Handle emergency repairs and participate in standby rota.
• Complete product training and obtain relevant accreditation; travel overseas.
• Support other areas and occasional overnight stays.
• Assist engineers working on traffic signals and related equipment.
