Job summary

Otis Elevator Co. is seeking an Escalator Repair Engineer to service and repair elevators and escalators in the Northwest region, with a base in the Glasgow area.

You will ensure passenger safety by maintaining a portfolio of lifts and on-site units while building strong customer relations. The role requires NVQ Level 3 in escalator services, a valid driver’s license, and at least 24 months in the elevator sector, plus solid electrical skills.

Qualifications

• Hold an NVQ level 3 in Escalator service, maintenance, or repair.
• Hold a driver’s license and within 1 hour commute of Liverpool.
• You have at least 24 months of experience in the elevator sector.
• You have good skills in electricity and electrical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 100% of the elevator maintenance and service visits of the units within your territory.
• Work within your defined geographical area / territory, managing the portfolio of elevators within it.
• Respond proactively and quickly to fix any breakdowns, aiming to achieve first time fix.
• Carry out minor repairs to achieve continual operation. Liaise directly with the customer while on site to build a good working relationship.
