Otis Liverpool is seeking an Escalator Repair Engineer to maintain and service lifts and escalator units across the Northwest region. You will ensure passenger safety by conducting preventive maintenance and responding to breakdowns, with a focus on first-time fixes.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Escalator service, maintenance or repair required.
• Driver’s license required and within 1 hour commute of Liverpool.
• At least 24 months of experience in the elevator sector.
• Good skills in electricity and electrical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 100% of the elevator maintenance and service visits of the units within your territory.
• Work within your defined geographical area / territory, managing the portfolio of elevators within it.
• Respond proactively and quickly to fix any breakdowns, aiming to achieve first time fix.
• Carry out minor repairs to achieve continual operation.
• Liaise directly with the customer while on site to build a good working relationship.
