Job summary

Solenis is seeking an Equipment Engineer to install, commission and maintain equipment for Water Treatment and Food & Beverage customers across the lower Midlands and Southwest UK. The role requires regional travel and the ability to manage a home-based diary, coordinating with service coordinators to keep appointments on schedule.

You will work on mechanical, electrical and automated/PLC driven equipment with a strong emphasis on fault finding, troubleshooting and timely service delivery.

Qualifications

• HNC or ONC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
• Experience in Food & Beverage, Water Treatment, or manufacturing environments preferred.
• PLC fault finding experience is a plus.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting ability in engineering.
• Automation and project management skills are an advantage.
• A clean driving license is required.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission new equipment at customer sites.
• Perform planned and scheduled maintenance checks.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and troubleshoot faults.
• Manage your diary and travel between customer sites; work from home base.
