Job summary

Baker Hughes Company is seeking a Field Engineer I in the UK to support the Completions and Well Intervention Team. You will assist in planning, deployment and operation of completion and well-intervention equipment, ensuring HSE compliance and high-quality reporting in a dynamic field setting.

The successful candidate will hold a engineering degree or equivalent field experience, be willing to travel offshore, and demonstrate strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills to collaborate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Experience in field operations, oilfield services, completions or related environment.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental excellence.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a customer-facing environment.
• Willingness to travel and work offshore.
• Hold a valid UK driving licence and the right to work in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, preparation and execution of completions and well intervention operations.
• Support deployment, maintenance and operation of well intervention and completion equipment.
• Ensure activities comply with HSE standards and customer requirements.
• Monitor performance and provide reporting and documentation.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in the field and support resolution.
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver operational outcomes.
• Maintain equipment readiness and compliance with procedures.
