Job summary

HSB is seeking an Engineer Surveyor in Wrexham to perform statutory inspections across mechanical equipment and ensure safety and compliance for clients. You will work across diverse environments, from stadiums to zoos, applying regulations with accuracy and initiative.

The role emphasizes client relationships, professional development, and working under the Munich Re Group umbrella. A valid UK driving licence is required and 1–3 years in general engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ experience in general engineering environments.
• Minimum Level NVQ 3, or equivalent award, in an engineering discipline.
• Knowledge/understanding of statutory regulations such as LOLER, PUWER, PSSR, COSHH, and British Standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out statutory and contractual inspections across mechanical equipment.
• Work across diverse environments, from football grounds to zoos, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Help clients stay compliant, safe, and operational within a supportive, expert-led environment.
