Job summary

HSB, part of the Munich Re Group, is seeking an Engineer Surveyor Cat 2 in Manchester. You will perform statutory and contractual inspections on mechanical equipment at diverse sites, ensuring safety and compliance while delivering exceptional service.

The role requires a Level 4 qualification, a UK driving licence, and at least 3 years of relevant experience. A travel-heavy, hands-on position with strong training and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have HNC or Level 4 qualification and 3 years direct and relevant experience.
• Knowledge/understanding of statutory regulations such as LOLER, PUWER, PSSR, COSHH, and British Standards.
• Holder of UK Driving licence, no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Carry out statutory and contractual inspections across mechanical equipment.
• Inspect at varied sites (e.g., football grounds, zoos) to ensure safety and compliance.
• Help clients stay compliant, safe, and operational within a supportive environment.
