Job summary

HSB in Huddersfield is seeking an Engineer Surveyor to perform statutory and contractual inspections on mechanical equipment across varied environments, from sports venues to zoos, ensuring safety and compliance. You will work within a supportive, expert-led team and contribute to clients' operational resilience.

The role requires 1-3 years in general engineering, NVQ 3 or equivalent, and knowledge of LOLER, PUWER, PSSR, COSHH, and British Standards.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years' experience in general engineering environments.
• Minimum Level NVQ 3, or equivalent award, in an engineering discipline.
• Knowledge/understanding of statutory regulations such as LOLER, PUWER, PSSR, COSHH, and British Standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out statutory and contractual inspections across a range of mechanical equipment.
• Ensure equipment safety, compliance, and operational readiness on diverse sites.
• Contribute to clients’ compliance and safety through expert audit and reporting.
