Job summary

HSB, part of Munich Re Group, is seeking an Engineer Surveyor Category 3 to conduct statutory inspections across varied mechanical equipment in locations around Wrexham. The role emphasizes client relationships, compliance, and safe operational practices within a supportive team.

You will inspect sites ranging from sports venues to animal facilities, ensuring adherence to regulations, with a focus on meticulous, on-schedule work and continuous professional development within a respected brand.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years' experience in general engineering environments.
• Knowledge/understanding of statutory regulations (LOLER, PUWER, PSSR, COSHH, British Standards).
• UK Driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Carry out statutory and contractual inspections across mechanical equipment.
• Work unsupervised and manage inspections at diverse sites (e.g., stadiums, zoos).
• Support clients to stay compliant, safe and operational.
