Job summary

UFORCE is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to ensure systems work reliably in real-world environments, bridging Engineering, Product, Operations, and Customer Success. You will own technical execution in the field and diagnose issues with limited time, tools, and backup, traveling to deploy and support complex platforms.

You will operate across software, electronics, hardware, and comms, translating field realities into engineering actions and providing clear technical feedback to customers

Qualifications

• Systems-minded engineering judgment across software, electronics, hardware, and comms.
• Practical field troubleshooting in deployed or operational environments.
• Prepared equipment, docs, checklists, spares for field activity.

Responsibilities

• Own field deployment, troubleshooting, and support of systems in real-world environments.
• Diagnose issues across domains with limited time, tools, or backup.
• Prepare for deployments with checklists, spares, tools, and documentation.
• Capture field observations and translate into engineering feedback for product teams.
• Support demonstrations, trials, and customer-facing technical activity.
