To respond to customer’s field repair and service requests, diagnosing issues and providing detailed information about the problem to the customer and Finning, in order to create a quote that is cost and time effective.

Job Description:

Main Job Functions

• Provide an estimate of arrival time at the customer’s site based on job instructions, including details of customer location, machine, contact name, and nature of the problem.
• Contact customer’s site management upon arrival to register presence and ensure adherence to site procedures.
• Diagnose equipment problems with specialized equipment, discuss issues with operators/supervisors, and provide detailed information for quoting.
• Identify parts needed for repairs, requisition parts, and coordinate delivery times to schedule service visits.
• Undertake repair and service work according to the work plan, including removing, dispatching, and re-installing components to restore the machine to required standards.
