Neos Networks in Inverness is seeking a Field Engineer to install, maintain and repair telecommunications infrastructure. The role requires hands-on work on core networks, operating in a hybrid environment with training provided where needed.
You will diagnose faults, coordinate with teams, manage projects and mentor junior staff, while delivering safe, efficient service to customers and stakeholders in a fast-paced field setting.

Salary: £42k with the potential for a higher depending on relevant qualifications, skills and experience.

Contract: Permanent, Full Time
We're looking for someone with strong telecommunications engineering experience and a passion for delivering excellent service.
ONC qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent industry experience. Significant hands-on experience working on telecommunications networks and associated infrastructure. Strong fault-finding, maintenance and repair skills across a range of core telecommunications technologies, including: Digital Microwave PMR Fibre Networks Cabling and Termination PDH SDH Remote Terminal Units (RTUs) Scanning Radio Systems Experience diagnosing and repairing non-core technologies with appropriate support and guidance. Good understanding of telecommunications systems and how they support customer and business operations. Understanding of how Neos Networks operates as a commercial business. Detailed knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
