Job summary

Otis Limited is seeking a maintenance mechanic to service and maintain elevators and escalators within a defined territory. The role focuses on safety, reliability, and customer interaction, with on-site work across the region.

You will perform routine maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and carry out minor repairs, while communicating effectively with clients and colleagues. A strong safety mindset and team/customer collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3/4 in lift service or equivalent certification.
• Driver's license is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the elevator sector.
• Strong knowledge of electricity and electrical engineering.
• Comfortable communicating with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Perform 100% of elevator maintenance and service visits within your area.
• Manage a defined territory and portfolio of elevators.
• Respond quickly to break downs and aim for first-time fix.
• Carry out minor repairs to keep operations running.
• Liaise with customers on-site to build good working relationships.
