Job summary

Vibe Recruit is seeking a Field Based Electrical Inspection & Testing Engineer to cover Bristol/M4/M5 Corridor with UK travel. The permanent role is 40 hours weekly with a salary of £40,000-£50,000 DOE and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will perform EICRs, PAT testing, remedial works, and deliver accurate reports. You’ll travel nationally, work on venues and education sites, and have opportunities to develop your electrical qualifications with funded training.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Technical Certificate or equivalent.
• Level 3 NVQ.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Experience carrying out EICRs.
• Electrical installation and remedial experience.
• Good reporting and documentation skills.
• Ability to travel nationally and work away from home.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs).
• Electrical installation inspection and testing.
• In-Service Inspection & Testing (PAT).
• Electrical installation and remedial works.
• Producing accurate reports and technical documentation.
• Assisting with quotations for remedial works.
• Providing customers with technical advice on electrical safety.
• Supporting PPM and other inspection activities.
• Working independently on customer sites and acting as the responsible person when required.
