Job summary

Thrive SW is seeking a Mobile Electrician to perform Fixed Wire and EICR testing along the M5 Corridor between Taunton and Bristol. The role is mobile with a £40-45k salary depending on experience, four days on the road and one day remote/office-based for paperwork.

Responsibilities include carrying out EICRs, testing, certifying installations, and providing clear remedial recommendations. You’ll use digital reporting systems, uphold safety standards, and travel efficiently between sites.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Electrician with an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 Testing & Inspection qualification.
• Proven experience carrying out Fixed Wire / EICRs across commercial and/or domestic properties.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent knowledge of BS 7671 Wiring Regulations.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across commercial and domestic properties.
• Inspect, test, and certify electrical installations in accordance with BS 7671 Wiring Regulations.
• Identify faults, defects, and non-compliances with remedial recommendations.
• Complete accurate certification and inspection reports using digital reporting systems.
• Carry out fault finding and electrical testing where required.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with Health & Safety regulations.
• Deliver a professional, customer-focused service at all times.
• Manage workload and travel efficiently between client sites.
• Support remedial works following inspections.
