Job summary

Cadent is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to maintain, repair and enhance critical E&I systems across the gas network. The role requires hands-on field work, fault finding and system upgrades, with regular travel and a full UK driving licence essential.

You will join Safety and Engineering and support both routine and non-routine activities, ensuring assets operate safely and reliably while adhering to standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Electrical testing and inspection qualification (C&G 2391 or equivalent).
• Recognised electrical/instrumentation qualification or apprenticeship.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and improve E&I assets across the network.
• Fault finding and system modifications across Cadent's gas transportation network.
• Travel across sites; field-based role supporting safety and performance.
