Job summary

Doocey Group is seeking a Dig & Lay Project Manager to oversee all onsite excavation works across the NGED Dig & Lay contract. You will spend time in the field, coaching Supervisors, pre-empting issues and ensuring safe, compliant delivery.

Responsibilities include coordinating resources across the project, ensuring planning and documentation are in place, and maintaining effective communication with key stakeholders to deliver on programme and contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience as Utilities Site Manager or Supervisor.
• Experience managing high-volume civils projects.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, pressurised environment.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to professionally represent the organisation with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, manage and plan contractor, direct labour and operative resources.
• Ensure works are planned with RAMS, permits and documentation.
• Liaise daily with Operations Director and contract management.
• Brief civil teams before mobilisation including hazards and guidance.
• Monitor progress and resolve queries and issues promptly.
• Update RAMS and project information on client and company systems.
• Manage reinstatement processes and ensure compliance with permits.
