Job summary

Doocey Group in Tipton is seeking a Contracts Manager for their Multi-Utilities division. This senior leadership role involves the management and delivery of multiple live civil engineering projects from pre-construction to final account, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in civil engineering and project management, strong leadership abilities, and a HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or similar. A flexible mindset to national travel is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Contracts Manager, Construction Manager or Senior Project Manager role.
• Proven background in civil engineering, utilities infrastructure or multi-utility project delivery.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong commercial awareness including CVRs, forecasting, variations and change management.
• Good working knowledge of NEC, JCT or bespoke client contract environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the safe delivery of projects.
• Monitor progress and take corrective action.
• Manage Site Managers, Engineers and Supervisors.
• Ensure works align with approved RAMS and client standards.
• Maintain communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Resolve technical and logistical project issues.
• Monitor quality and safety standards.
