Mistral is seeking a Field CTO to externally represent our AI leadership, shaping enterprise AI strategy with CIOs/CTOs and senior boards. You will collaborate with regional sales leadership, influence product direction, and publish thought leadership that defines our market stance.

You will drive executive conversations, participate in major industry events, and build long-term relationships with strategic accounts across multiple industries. A strong, credible presence in AI is essential.

Qualifications

• Credible publicAI track record: papers, articles, talks.
• Open-weight model positions aligned with enterprise needs.
• Experience with European data sovereignty and on-prem deployment.
• Able to engage CTOs, CIOs, and VP Engineering at scale.
• 10–25 years in enterprise technology leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Engage executive-level stakeholders and build trusted-advisor relationships.
• Publish thought leadership, articles, and analyses of enterprise AI direction.
• Represent Mistral at industry events and lead keynote/panel activities.
• Provide market feedback to shape product direction across governance and deployment.
